Terms of service

The service

Monkefy Pay is software that helps merchants accept in-person card payments through Stripe. Stripe, not Monkefy Pay, is the payment processor. You must also accept Stripe’s connected-account and Terminal terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for users you invite, for keeping login codes confidential, and for activity on your terminals. Platform administrators may suspend access that threatens other merchants or the integrity of the ledger.

Fees

In addition to Stripe’s processing fees, Monkefy Pay charges an application fee as configured for your account, currently expressed in basis points on captured card-present payments.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not warrant uninterrupted service. Payment acceptance also depends on Apple Tap to Pay, Stripe, card networks, and the device.
